Dam at King Pond – the half acre  mountain spring fed pond is named after the former owner and builder of the pond, Willis King. We have a resident turtle that I am told is not native to the land, and is most likely someone’s once-upon-a-time pet. The turtle can be seen sunbathing on the banks or floating along peacefully in the water to which we have lovingly named Willis.
